New Irish band ‘The Kerbs’ are a four piece alternative rock band from Co. Mayo, Ireland. They have just dropped their debut single ‘Changes. With this, the band have released a stop motion music video made using over 3400 photos & 6 mugs of tea!
‘Changes’ is a heartfelt song written by Mark McHale and brought to life by the band. The music video, made on a budget of just €20, tells the tale of an imperfect love story between two mugs of tea. The lads, eager to use their other creative talents, spent three weeks making the video remotely from one of their kitchens in Co. Mayo. It was painstakingly made by changing stickers on the mugs to make facial expressions and bring the characters to life.
The Kerbs recorded their debut EP in Attica Audio Recording Studio in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. The songs were mixed and recorded by Tommy McLaughlin owner of the studio and bassist of award winning Irish band The Villagers. Many successful bands have recorded there such as Little Hours, The Delorentos , Sam Smith also spent time there writing songs for his new album.
The Kerbs new single ‘Changes’ is available on all major streaming / purchase platforms: ITunes, Spotify, You Tube, Google Play, Amazon, Deezer and many more.
